Job #5

The Legend of The Sleepy Hollow is more creepy, comical, has supernatural phenomenon (such as the headless horseman), is a much longer story, goes straight from the beginning to the end, and never really gives a definite resolution. An Occurrence on Owl Creek Bridge is much shorter, more deceptive when his fantasy is portrayed as reality, starts more in the middle of the story, then goes to the beginning and then to the end, and is more of a thriller. Overall, I believe they are both very different stories, which means Irving and  Bierce have very different writing styles. In my opinion, Bierce's story was much more exciting and attention-grabbing.
